What cookies are

UXC Accelerate is a trading name of UXclinician Ltd ("us", "we", "our"). This policy explains what cookies are, how they are used on this website, and what your choices are.

Cookies are small pieces of text sent to your browser by a website you visit. The file is stored in your browser and allows a website, or a third party, to recognise you and make your next visit easier. Cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them.

What this site uses

We group what a website can store into three categories, and this site only ever uses the first two.

Strictly necessary

One entry in your browser's local storage, recording the cookie choice you made so we do not ask again on every page, and the ordinary handling that lets the contact form reach us. The law does not require consent for this, because without it the site cannot do what you asked of it. It holds no name, no email address and no identifier for you.

Analytics, only if you allow it

Off unless you turn it on. If you accept analytics, we would use anonymous, aggregated measurement to see which pages get read and how people arrive. It is never used to identify you, to build a profile, or to advertise to you. Decline and nothing about the site changes for you.

Advertising and tracking

Not used at all. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no social media pixels and no data sold or shared with advertisers. There is nothing here for you to switch off.

Separately from cookies, our hosting provider records what any web server records in the course of serving a page, including your IP address in server logs. Our privacy notice explains how we handle that.

Third parties

This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Google does not set cookies for Google Fonts, but serving the font files means Google receives your IP address and browser information. You can read how Google handles that in the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Pages on this site link out to other websites, including publishers, research repositories, professional registers and award bodies. Those sites are outside our control and set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your choices

When you first arrive, a banner asks what you allow. Decline is as easy as accept, and nothing beyond the strictly necessary runs until you choose. Settings lets you decide category by category.

You can change your mind at any time, and you do not have to ask us to do it: select Cookie settings in the footer of any page, adjust the toggles, and save. Withdrawing consent is as straightforward as giving it, as the law requires.

You can also delete cookies, or tell your browser to refuse them, from your browser's own settings. Because this site relies on none of them to function, refusing will not stop it working for you.
