Working with multiple stakeholders, we co-led the research and development of ACEmobile, a tablet-based dementia assessment tool. Internationally successful, widely commissioned, the subject of numerous publications, and an HSJ award winner.

HSJ: a dementia assessment app enabling rapid diagnosisDementia assessments in the NHS carried a high error rate. The aim was to address that with a purpose-built clinical eHealth solution, funded by the NIHR and the charity sector.
The project ran from usability studies, through commissioning the app's creation, to the international release of the product.
The psychology was in the detail: how a clinician moves through an assessment, where the errors creep in, and what the interface has to do so they do not.
The app was shown to reduce clinician error rates by 93%, published in a peer-reviewed journal, and was adopted by over 1,000 dementia services across the UK and Australia.
It won an HSJ award for improving NHS efficiency with technology in 2018.

With the NHS wellbeing taskforce, 2020 to 2025
We built a full mental health service, digital front door included, to support NHS staff wellbeing at work through COVID-19, in partnership with the NHS wellbeing taskforce. Over 15,000 wellbeing sessions were delivered at no cost to the NHS, a volunteer-delivered gift valued at more than £1.5m. Recognised with a Points of Light award.
EpSMon
Academic, charity and health partners
We led the research and development of EpSMon, a self-monitoring app that helps people with epilepsy recognise rising risk early. It was shown to have real-world impact, has won national and international awards, and is commissioned by the NHS.
ReNurture
Our own product
Our own product, built end to end. A private, self-paced recovery programme for people who have left controlling or abusive relationships, created by Craig, a Clinical Psychologist and a survivor. A government-funded UK pilot, evaluated with NIHR and Innovate UK, and launched in 2026.
